Not just the couple and their family, but fans have also been over the moon ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to welcome their first child. The couple tied the knot on April 13 and immediately took off to complete their work commitments. And one fine Monday morning, Alia took to the gram to announce that she is pregnant and the couple has only been receiving love from everyone around the globe.
Ranbir on the other hand has been busy promoting his next film Shamshera which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. The actor, amid the promotions, was recently quizzed on embracing fatherhood. Ranbir, very candidly went on to share that he is grateful but he is also terrified.
“Well I don’t know what I can say as the journey is about to begin, but I am thrilled, I am ecstatic I am scared, terrified but very grateful. It is a gift from god and I hope I can be the best version of myself for this one,” he told Pinkvilla.
After the release of Shamshera, Ranbir and Alia will finally step out for the promotions of their highly anticipated project, as well as their first project together Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Dharma Productions, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The first installment of the film is all set to release on September 9.
