Koffee With Karan 7 has finally gone on-air and the first episode featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has everyone talking. And well, the episode, as one might expect, will turn out to be quite the revelation after all and it was also quite an emotional one for the mom-to-be Alia.
Alia got talking about how the pandemic and the beginning of it was for her as well as Ranbir Kapoor, and while she spoke about how it was a time for their family, she also got emotional and a little bit teary eyed while talking about the same. She said how when COVID-19 came here, March and April were spent in being with Rishi uncle and following his passing, she used to be with her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor.
While Alia was emotional, she was all about family and how they all stayed together as one during that time, ensuring that everyone was there for each other.
Another emotional moment in the episode form today was when Alia revealed how Ranbir Kapoor proposed to her and how that was rather unexpected. On the episode, she mentioned that though it is very special and she’d not want to say everything, she was taken aback at how everything happened and that RK also managed to place their guide in such a way that he got pictures.
Among other things, Alia also spoke about how she got to see a different side of Ranveer Singh during her time with him and revealed that the two share a couple of common things, which is why they connect the way they do.
On the work front, Ranveer and Alia will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, after their stint in Gully Boy was extremely loved by one and all.
