Good news for Bigg Boss lovers! Given Bigg Boss OTT’s popularity, the show’s creators are reportedly thinking about bringing it back for another season. A second season of Bigg Boss OTT is being considered, according to a source close to the OTT reality show. Ranveer Singh will likely host the program this season. Karan Johar hosted the first season.
However, nothing has been formally confirmed, and there has been no announcement.
The source said, “Makers have started working on the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. As they couldn’t get dates from Karan Johar, the makers have finalised Ranveer Singh to host the show. He has earlier worked for the channel for another reality TV show, The Big Picture.”
Five competitors will also compete in the second season. Mahesh Shetty, Pooja Gor, and Kanchi Singh – three well-known TV personalities, have been chosen already. The source added that Sambhavna Seth and Poonam Pandey have yet to agree to join the project, according to the report by IANS.
The first season of Bigg Boss OTT, hosted by Karan Johar was really successful. A number of famous people appeared in the first season, including Nishant Bhat, Pratik Sehajpal, Raqesh Bapat, Shamita Shetty, Divya Agarwal, Zeeshan Khan, Uorfi Javed, and others. Nishant Bhat came in second place to Divya in the Bigg Boss OTT show. Throughout the programme, Shamita got a tonne of media attention for her activities.
Now, fans are eagerly waiting to experience Ranveer Singh’s dhamakedar hosting in this season. On the work front, Ranveer is busy shooting forKaran Johar’s Rocky aur Rani Ki Dulhania starring opposite Alia Bhatt. Ranveer will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, which is slated for a Christmas release this year. He has Shankar’s remake of his blockbuster film Anniyan in the pipeline.
