The Assam CM relief fund has lately received help from Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. Assam is currently experiencing one of the worst crises this year as a result of catastrophic floods. The deluge’s effects continued to cause anguish for more than 21 lakh people.
Aamir has donated Rs 25 lakhs to the CM relief fund for Assamese citizens impacted by the floods. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, made this announcement on his official Twitter account.
The chief minister tweeted his profound gratitude for Aamir. He wrote, “Eminent Bollywood actor Amir Khan extended a helping hand to the flood-affected people of our State by making a generous contribution of ₹25 lakh towards CM Relief Fund. My sincere gratitude for his concern and act of generosity.”

However, officials claimed that because the amount of rain has decreased over the past week, the flooding situation is improving. But the worst-affected region is still Silchar. According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), more than 2.2 million people in 22 districts are still experiencing flood-related hardship.
