Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has given quite a few impressive performances over the years. The actress’ latest release, Janhit Mein Jaari, hit the screens on June 10 and has received mixed reviews. In the movie, Nushrratt essays the role of a condom seller.
Back in May, when a teaser of the movie had released online, Nushrratt was trolled a lot for her character in the movie. Recently, the actress opened up about how this trolling affected her.
During a recent interview, Nushrratt went on to say that the trolling affected her whole family. “The messages were so filthy that these reactions not only affected me, but my entire family and friends. I couldn’t sleep for two nights thinking about their messages,” she said.
She further told ETimes, “The next day I thought should I just ignore and move one? I thought I just can be thick skinned and forget about it. Then I thought… I live in a democratic country, I too enjoy freedom of speech then why should I not share my piece of mind?”
Janhit Mein Jaari has been directed by Jai Basantu Singh and written by Raaj Shaandilyaa. The movie also stars Paritosh Tripathi, Shaan yadav and Vijay Raaz in important roles. The film has proved to be a slow performer at the box office.
Meanwhile, Nushrratt has some interesting projects coming up. She will be soon seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in Ram Setu. The movie is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma. It also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Satyadev Kancharana in important roles. Ram Setu is scheduled to release in October.
