Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has made it big in Bollywood without a godfather. Being from a non-filmy background, the actor has struggled to reach the position where he is today. The Samrat Prithviraj actor did not have it easy during his struggling days and he can often be seen talking about those days in talk shows. During a conversation with Anupam Kher some years back on his talk show The Anupam Kher Show – Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai, Akshay Kumar once revealed that he was robbed inside a train.
Elaborating about his experience of getting robbed inside a train, Akshay Kumar said in Hindi, “I had just done my shopping worth Rs 4500-5000, and I got inside the train with all of them. When Chambal came, some dacoits walked in. I was sleeping but suddenly, when I opened my eyes, I could see some dacoits taking all the stuff from people inside the train.”
He continued, “The dacoits then came near me and took all my stuff away. If I would have made any noise, they would have shoot me.” When asked by Anupam Kher, what Akshay was doing while the dacoits were taking his stuff away, the actor told, “Main ro raha tha (I was crying).” The Ram Setu actor then continued, “Mera saara saaman utha le gaye the. Mera chappal tak utha le gaye the (They took all my stuff, even my slippers).”
Akshay Kumar then concluded by saying, “I stuff I bought for Rs 4500, all got robbed and I got off at Old Delhi station without anything.”
Akshay set off his foot in Bollywood with the 1991 movie Saugandh. He is one of the most disciplined and fittest actors in the industry. With a number of upcoming projects in his kitty, he is also one of the busiest actors in the Hindi film industry currently.
Talking about his upcoming movies, the actor will be next seen in lead roles in Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, OMG 2, Mission Cinderella, Selfiee and untitled Soorarai Pottru remake.
