A high drama was witnessed inside a plane after two youth Congress workers, raised slogans against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan when he was travelling from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuramon Monday.
The youth Congress workers, one of them wearing a black shirt, protested inside the aircraft after it landed in Kerala’s capital.
LDF convenor and senior CPI(M) leader EP Jayarajan allegedly pushed aside the two protestors according to the Congress.
However, Jayarajan alleged that the duo, who were sitting in the front of the plane, were drunk and were walking towards the CM after the plane landed and everyone was getting ready to deboard.
Calling the incident a “terror activity”, Jayarajan said that Congress has fallen to the extent where it was “adopting methods of terror groups
Talking to reporters after the incident, he said that everyone was criticising the security arrangements of the Chief Minister, when the Congress was allegedly walking around with “such terrorists”.
He further said it was unfortunate that a Chief Minister of a state cannot travel in peace on board an aircraft and such a situation has arisen allegedly because of the Congress.
In a video, released by Youth Congress State vice-president KS Sabarinathan, the two workers of the organisation were seen raising slogans against the CM demanding his resignation.
The three-second clip also showed a man who accompanied Vijayan forcefully pushing the protesters aside.
In a Facebook post, Sabarinathan alleged the protesting Youth Congress workers were pushed by Jayarajan.
The Kerala CM has been at the receiving end of the Congress and BJP workers since gold-smuggling case key accused Swapna Suresh claimed that he and his family members were involved in some smuggling activities.
