A few days back politician Nupur Sharma made certain unfavourable remarks against Prophet Mohammad by quoting the Hadith during a television debate. The remarks sparked a nationwide unrest and saw the BJP spokersperson getting suspended from the party as well.
Even as people across the country have taken up slogans against Sharma, yesterday actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for not holding back her views showed support by taking to her Instagram account to share a still from the movie ‘PK’ and writing, “Just because a woman out of rage quoted Hadith toh poore desh ko sar pe utha liya hai, what kind of people do this…such alarming behavior”.
Kangana has once again taken to her Instagram Stories to share her opinion on the ongoing debate. Sharing a dialogue between Imtiaz Jalil and Owaisi, where Nupur‘s debacle is being discussed, and wrote, “Many of my Muslim friends drink and smoke, have premarital sex, don’t wear burkha, use swear words, eat pork and because of work situations at time don’t even follow halal guidelines… it’s fine beauty of India is freedom nahi toh not just Nupur but everyone will become criminals…”
Meanwhile, Kangana also shared images from a picnic she enjoyed with her family on Friday. The actress is currently in Manali and shared a bunch of pictures from her ‘favourite spot’. Calling it a ‘much-needed break’, she wrote on Instagram, “Much needed break day with my family at my favourite spot … and weather was also kind…beautiful day…”
