Sunday was all about spending quality time with her family for Alia. Earlier today, her mom Soni Razdan took to Instagram to give a glimpse of their lunch date. One can also spot Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt in the pic. Alia and Shaheedn are Soni and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s daughters.
For the outing, Alia wore a simple yet elegant full-sleeved top in black. Ditching makeup, the actress pulled her hair back and completed her look with hoop earrings.
While sharing the photo, Soni wrote, “Hello there,” followed by red heart emoticons. Commenting on the post, Alia read, “Hello mommy.”
Meanwhile, on the movie front, Alia is gearing up for her Hollywood debut. She will be starring in the Netflix thriller Heart of Stone alongside actors Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. A spy drama, Heart of Stone is helmed by Tom Harper and also stars Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighofer, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready.
The actress also has other interesting projects in the pipeline. She will be soon seen sharing screen space with her hubby Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The movie is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in key roles. Alia has also teamed up with Ranveer Singh for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-starring Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra.
