Yorkshire came back to the winning ways in their last game as they made a mockery of a 200-plus chase against Durham in the ongoing T20 Blast. Yorkshire chased the total down in just 17.4 overs to notch up their second win of the tournament and will hope to get on a roll as they push for a spot in the knockouts.
Sailing in the same boat are their opponents for Monday, Nottinghamshire. Notts were subjected to their third loss of the tournament against Birmingham Bears on Sunday night as they lost the rain-interrupted thriller by just one run. Opener Alex Hales has been in scintillating form for the Notts and he will be hoping to continue the same. However, the Notts will be wary of Yorkshire’s batting line-up, which is coming of a high-scoring chase.
While Yorkshire are in the fifth spot while Notts are in 6th place and a win might give a chance to either of the side to break away from the middle muddle.
