Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that people are scared to speak anything against the BJP and that his party is the only anti-dote for the saffron party.
Addressing AAP’s ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Mehsana in Gujarat in the run-up to the upcoming Assembly polls, Kejriwal said that the BJP-ruled state is asking for change.
This is the AAP chief’s fourth visit in three months to Gujarat, where the state Assembly elections are due in December.
“Gujarat is fed up with BJP and its sister Congress,” the Delhi Chief Minister said in Mehsana, which is considered as a Patidar stronghold.
Kejriwal went on to say that Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil is actual Chief Minister of Gujarat. “CR Patil is actual CM in Gujarat. He calls me a thief. I construct schools, hospitals, give free electricity and water. They are real thieves.”
He further said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is a staunch patriotic party and that BJP is afraid of its patriotism.
The AAP had decided to contest on all 182 seats and has been projecting itself as the only alternative to the ruling BJP and opposition Congress.
