BTS’ Suga wears necklace at airport gifted by his mom almost 10 years ago ahead of meeting US President Joe Biden

Every glimpse of a BTS member, from any part of the world, can never go unnoticed. The BTS Army makes sure to stay updated and keep a close eye on what their favourite K-pop band are doing or what they’re wearing. On Sunday, Min Yoon-gi aka Suga was spotted at the airport as he was leaving for the USA with the rest of the members ahead of their meeting with US President Joe Biden.
Many pictures surfaced online and it didn’t take a second for the Army to notice that the singer was wearing a necklace that his mother had gifted him before he made his debut in 2013. While Suga was travelling with members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin and V, Jungkook had already left for the US on Saturday.
The K-pop group are set to talk about diversity with President Joe Biden at the White House on May 31 along with Asian inclusion and anti-Asian hate crimes.
At Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, Suga wore a white t-shirt, a cream shirt, a pair of denim and sandals. He wore a protective mask and flaunted his necklace and carried a black bag.
A Twitter user reacted to Suga’s necklace that was seen after almost a decade, “Yoongi is wearing the necklace that his mom gave him before debut over 10 years ago. She had told him the necklace would make his wishes come true (sic).”
Another one said, “K-armys are talking about the necklace yoongi is wearing, it’s the same necklace that yoongi’s mom gave to him and told him it would make all his wishes come true…it’s been along time since he wore it since debut days (sic).”
BTS has been invited to the White House in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month (AANHPI Heritage Month). Besides this, the group is gearing up for the release of their anthology album Proof on June 10.
