Royal Challengers Bangalore hilariously switch Twitter profile image to voice support for MI VS DC

All Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans will wear dawn blue jerseys on Saturday (May 21) as Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) take on the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
With three spots already sealed for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 playoffs as Gujarat Titans (GT), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have confirmed their spot, only one spot remains and it is a straight shootout between DC and RCB.
RCB have finished their league stage campaign with 16 points while with one left DC have 14 points to their name. A win over MI will see the Pant-led outfit go level points and upstage them for the elusive fourth spot as they have a better Net Run Rate (RR) than the Faf du Plessis-led side.
It is no surprise that all RCB supporters are praying for a MI win on Saturday evening. In fact, the franchise’s official Twitter account changed the colour of their profile picture to blue with a special hashtag ‘Red Turns Blue’. They also wrote a special letter postcard to Rohit & Co. to wish them luck for the game.
The Bengaluru-based franchise began their campaign by winning five of their first seven games but suffered a major blip by losing the next three. Although they won three of their final four games, they are not guaranteed a spot in the playoffs yet. In their last match, they defeated table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) by eight-wickets with Virat Kohli scoring his second half-century of the season.
Post the game vs GT, Kohli had declared his support for MI and even hinted at being in the stadium. “Trying to put our feet up and chill out for 2 days and support Mumbai. We have 2 more supporters for Mumbai, not just 2 but I think 25 more supporters. You might see us in the stadium as well,” Kohli said in an interview with Du Plessis for IPLT20.com.
