They defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 14 runs before handing a six-wicket defeat to Punjab Kings (PBKS). Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) halted GT’s winning run and defeated them by a big margin of 8 wickets.
GT returned to the winning ways in their 4th fixture and defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 37 runs. Their next 4 wins came against CSK, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), SRH and RCB. PBKS handed GT a big 8-wicket defeat.
For the first time in the season, GT lost their 2nd match on the trot when Muumbai Indians handed them a 5-run defeat.
