For a while now, Govinda and Krushna Abhishek have been in a public feud. The uncle and his nephew though seemed quite close at one point, had a fallout on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show when Govinda arrived with his wife Sunita Ahuja but Krushna Abhishek was missing.
In a recent interview, Krushna opened up about the fallout and said his words have often been taken out of context and many times, his quotes have been misconstrued.
He said that he misses his uncle and wishes that he would play with his kids. On Maniesh Paul’s podcast, Krushna got emotional and shared a special message for Govinda and asked him not to believe everything that is out in the media.
“Chichi mama, mein aapse bahut pyar karta haun. Aapko bahut miss karta hun. Hamesha miss karta hun. Aap kabhi papers pe aur in cheezo mein kabhi mat jaana ki media mein kya aa gaya hai aur kya likha gaya hain. Mein sirf ek hi cheez miss karta hun ki mein chahta ki mere jo babies hain wo mere mama ke sath khele. Mein wo bahut miss karta hun,” he said.
[Translation: Uncle Govinda, I really love you. I miss you a lot. I always miss you. Please don’t believe what is written about us in the media. I miss one thing. I want my uncle to play with my babies. I just miss that.]
A while back, Govinda got reportedly upset with his nephew because the latter made a comment on TKSS. He had said, “Maine Govinda ko apna mama rakha hai.“
Krushna Abhishek is a regular cast member of the comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show. He plays the character Sapna on the show. On the other hand, Govinda was last seen in the music video Hello, which was released on his official YouTube channel.
