After much wait, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on Thursday (April 14). While, Bollywood celebrities extended their warm wishes to the newlywed couple, it was Alia and Ranbir’s bodyguards’ sweetest post that melted many hearts. Sunil Talekar, who is the bodyguard of Alia Bhatt, and Yusuf Ibrahim, Ranbir’s bodyguard, penned emotional notes for the star couple.
Sharing a picture with Alia and Ranbir from their wedding day, he sweetly wrote that his heart is filled with happiness seeing her as a bride. “From holding your tiny hands to seeing you as a bride I can say my heart is filled with happiness today.” Alia even liked the post.
On Thursday, Alia shared a series of pictures from her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor. The couple looked radiant in Sabyasachi wedding outfits. “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia”, she wrote.
Alia and Ranbir’s pre-wedding festivities kicked-off on April 13 with mehendi and sangeet ceremonies. It was followed up by haldi and wedding ceremony on April 14.
The couple fell in love back in 2017 when they met on the sets of Brahmastra. They made their first appearance as a couple at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception.
