Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor’s son, married Alia Bhatt in an intimate but magical wedding ceremony on April 14 in the presence of their friends and family.
Her love for Alia Bhatt is evident. Neetu, in fact, shared photos of Ranbir and Alia on her Instagram profile after the wedding celebration, calling them her “world”. She recently shared another photo of the two newlyweds and captioned it as, “Chote Kapoor saab and my bahurani,” dropping heart emojis.
Neetu will now be a judge on Colors TV’s Dance Deewane Juniors, which premieres next week. ColorsTV has released a new teaser for an upcoming episode, which features Neetu chatting about Alia Bhatt. The episode was filmed on Monday, April 11, according to Neetu’s outfit, when she was still refuting the news of Ranbir and Alia’s wedding.
Karan Kundrra, the show’s host, then makes a reference to reports of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding, adding, “Sass to aa rahi hai because bahu bhi to aa hi rahi hain (she is learning sass because her daughter-in-law is also coming).” Neetu then retorts, “Aa gayi hai (She has already arrived).” Karan then goes on to ask, “Ghar pe chal kiski rahi hai? Sass (sass) ki ya bahu ki (who rules the house? Mother-in-law or daughter-in-law)?”
Neetu replies, “Khaali bahu ki. Mai chahti hu ki sirf bahu ki hi chale (daughter-in-law rules the house. I want that only my daughter-in-law rules the house).” Neetu had also complimented Alia the day before the wedding, adding, “She is the best. God bless them, really.”
Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir are planning an intimate get-together at Vastu after their wedding ceremony. The couple will not be having a lavish wedding reception for their industry friends, according to prior claims.
In terms of work, they’ll be seen together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy all play important roles in the film. It is slated to hit the screens on September 9, 2022
