Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got hitched on April 14 in their Vastu residence in Bandra, Mumbai, in a small wedding ceremony. Since then, photos from their beautiful wedding have swept social media.
Neetu Kapoor posted a gorgeous family portrait with newlyweds on Friday, accompanied by the Kapoors and the Bhatts. Neetu, Soni Razdan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Bharat Sahni, Mahesh Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor were all photographed in the same frame.
There were several rumours about the date and location of the wedding just before it. Both families were tight-lipped, and little information was available. In an interview with News18, Neetu explains that the reason for the confidentiality is that her son Ranbir prefers to be surrounded by mystery
“I believe a celebrity should not be completely accessible and that is one of the reasons Ranbir doesn’t like to be on social media. He doesn’t like to make dancing videos on social media and attract people. The audience can watch him in theatres and give their views. He believes that there should be a mystery around an actor. Also, he likes certain things to be private and one of them is his personal life and we all should respect it, “She goes on to state that her wedding to Rishi Kapoor was also a private affair. “Back in our days there was a lot of mystery as there was no paparazzi and social media which I believe was a good thing. Today, a celebrity is exposed to everything and so that the whole mystery and aura goes away. I feel that the more you keep it covered, the better.”
In terms of work, the veteran actor will soon be featured as a judge on Colors TV’s Dance Deewane Juniors, which premieres next week. When it comes to the show, she revealed that she enjoys spending time with children and that she thoroughly enjoys every bit of watching them perform and engages with these innocent souls. She goes on to say that today’s children are extremely gifted, making it difficult to judge them. Her advice to all the kids on the show is to have fun and not to put too much pressure on themselves.
