Anushka Sharma says ‘Here we go again’ as she reacts to COVID-19 variant XE’s first case in Mumbai

The entire nation was shocked yesterday after a new variant of COVID-19 virus XE was reported in Mumbai Maharashtra. The Brinhanmumbai Municipal Corporation revealed the same in a media release. One of the cases of the Kappa variant was also been reportedly detected.
However, the patients with the new variants of the virus do not have any symptoms so far. Official sources from the union health ministry however disagreed and stated that the present evidence does not suggest that it is an XE variant.
Now taking to her Instagram story Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma reacted to the same. She took her Instagram story and shared a news post about the same. Sharing the same she wrote, “Here we go again” with a mask-on emoji.
The new mutant of the virus is said to be more transmissible that any strain of novel coronavirus. The World Health Organisation said the same last week. The Mumbai patient is a 50-year-old costume designer who returned from South Africa in February. She had tested positive for Covid-19, the BMC said in its release
For the unversed, talking about Anushka’s professional front, The actress will make a smashing comeback on the silver screen with Chakda Xpress. She will essay the role of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami in the sports drama, which will premiere directly on Netflix.
Last month, she informed her fans that she has decided to step down from Clean Slate Filmz. She had co-founded the production house with her brother Karnesh Ssharma. The actress revealed that after becoming another she is juggling multiple responsibilities and for now, she wants to dedicate her time to her first love -acting.
Anushka’s last release Zero arrived in the cinema halls in December 2018. The film co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif couldn’t create ripples at the box office despite a promising start.
