There were reports doing rounds on the internet today that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are planning to tie the knot in the banquet hall of the Vastu building in Pali Hills and not the actor’s ancestral home. It looks like these reports are true after all as Alia’s manager and her head of security were spotted outside the Vastu building. A video of the duo chatting and inspecting the location has now gone viral.
Alia’s manager Grishma Shah can be seen talking to Yusuf Bhai, actress’ security in-charge. Alia’s publicist Nilufer Qureshi was also papped at the wedding venue. As per a report by Etimes, Ranbir has booked the banquet of the building for 8 days. For the unversed, Alia and Ranbir live in the same building. The actress has an apartment there on the 5th floor whereas Ranbir stays there in a penthouse.
“Ranbir booked the same banquet for 4 days sometime in 2019, around the time Alia got her house on 5th floor on rent – but used it for just 1 or 2 days that time. We will have to wait and see what exactly pans out in Vastu’s banquet this time, from Saturday,” mentions the report.
Earlier it was reported that Ranbir and Alia will exchange their wedding vows at RK House, Chembur were the actor’s parents, Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor, also got married.
Neither Bhatt nor the Kapoor clan has confirmed the news about Alia and Ranbir’s wedding later this month (April) as of yet. If reports are anything to go by, then the couple has apparently asked their respective teams to sign non-disclosure agreements. These will bar them from sharing any news about her upcoming rumoured nuptials.
Prior to Alia and Ranbir, it was Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal who reportedly got their wedding guests and teams to sign NDAs.
