Rumours are rife that Bollywood star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to take the plunge. If reports are anything to go by, the much-loved duo will tie the knot on April 17 at RK House in Mumbai. Alia and Ranbir have been dating each other for quite some time, and even though an official confirmation is awaited, RanLia fans just couldn’t be happier!
Alia, a self-confessed Ranbir fangirl, came close to the Sanju star during the shoot of their much-awaited film, Brahmastra. They reportedly started dating in 2018 and managed to keep their affair a secret for the first few months. However, as soon as the rumours of their romance made headlines, netizens were quick to assume that Alia was the reason Ranbir had called it quits with Katrina Kaif. But, that was apparently not the case as confirmed by Alia herself.
In an interview with Vogue, Alia Bhatt had spoken about the ‘ridiculous’ stories which stated that she was the cause of Ranbir and Katrina’s break. When asked about fake reports, Alia said, “There may not be sensational catfights but there are a lot of rubbish stories in the news on and off.” A furious Alia had added, “I read that I was the cause of the Ranbir-Katrina breakup. It was so ridiculous that I didn’t think it needed clarification”

For those unversed, the Jagga Jasoos stars were in a relationship before Ranbir fell in love with Alia. They dated each other for almost four years before parting ways in 2016. Katrina’s close friend Alia dating the Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani actor years after her breakup had sparked several speculations. Reports had even suggested that RanLia’s relationship had caused a rift between BFFs Alia and Katrina. However, the duo still share a cordial bond.
In fact, they’re all set to come together for Farhan Akhtar’s Jee le Zara.
