Celebrations continue for the team of RRR. Fans knew SS Rajamouli was going to deliver a box office spectable when he announced his film that would star Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead. The film is a fictional tale of two freedom fighters and how their lives cross paths. With Ram Charan as Alluri Sitarama Raju and Jr NTR as Komaram Bheem, the film boasts of a spectacular star cast, including Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran in extended cameos.
The film broke all records on the first day itself after collecting Rs 223 crore worldwide. And as the film enters its fourth day, the team can continue celebrations as the film sets new records by making Rs 500 crore and counting. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the update. The film opened to a whopping Rs 257 crore, with Rs 74.50 crore over the first weekend (Hindi release).
Ram Charan celebrated his birthday yesterday and went on to share a note for his fans for the best birthday gift. He had written, “Thank you for the immense love and appreciation for SS Rajamouli Garu’s RRR. My warmest thanks to each and everyone who has watched the film in theatres with great enthusiasm. I humbly accept this amazing birthday gift.”
Jr NTR hosted a grand bash for his co-star that saw the cast of the film not just cutting a cake for a birthday celebration but also celebrating the grand success of their movie. The caption read, “@jrntr hosted a grand birthday bash for @alwaysramcharan last night and it was out of the world. #RRR #RRRMovie”
The film’s release constantly got postponed due to the pandemic. But good things come to those who wait and we’re sure the team of the film agrees. The film was originally slated to release on July 30 and then in the first weak of January and finally made it’s way to the big screen on March 25.
