Alia Bhatt has been in the news for the last couple of weeks for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. She was seen in and around the city promoting the film in her signature white saree look. She even performed her signature namaste pose from the film on several occasions and the pose has been trending on Instagram. Just today, Palak Sindhwani of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recreated the pose.
She recorded a video on Instagram wherein she recreated the namaste pose. She was first seen wearing a pink jumpsuit and then she switched to a white lehenga look to give full gangsta Gangubai vibes. Palak rounded her lehenga look with silver earrings and tied her hair in a neat bun.
Along with this video, Palak penned a sweet note marking Women’s Day 2022. She revealed that she watched the Alia-starrer crime thriller yesterday (March 07) and is in awe of the actress’ performance.
Her caption read: “Watched this movie yesterday and I’m still thinking about it, what a beautiful piece of art! @aliaabhatt @bhansaliproductions. I can’t believe what all we women has to go through, from facing discrimination to bearing pain to deal with challenges on a daily basis and the list goes on but still we are here, trying to live our life to the fullest unapologetically, giving it all our heart and soul, and I’m proud of all of us, we all deserve the best in life and we don’t expect anybody else to give it to us on a golden platter, we will go and get it on our own, cheers to us!”
Palak is known for playing Sonu Atmaram Bhide on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The role was earlier played by Jheel Mehta and then was replaced by Nidhi Bhanushali. After Nidhi, Palak took up the role. She’s been active from 2019 and fans adore her performance on the sitcom.
