Saif Ali Khan’s younger sister Saba Ali Khan penned a note on social media to laud the women for their accomplishments in their professional and personal space on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2022. The jewelry designer paid a sweet ode to her mother Sharmila Tagore, sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, niece Sara Ali Khan and sister Soha Ali Khan while saluting the spirit of women.
Saba posted a montage video, which featured Sharmila, Soha, Kareena and herself. She acknowledged the contribution of women from different walks of life, who ‘strived to make a difference’.
The 46-year-old shared a note that read, “Happy Women’s Day….! 8.3.2022. To ALL those women, who strived to make a difference, with strength, wit, humor and humanity. Here’s.. celebrating YOU! Today and Always. Family, friends and those missing…
Fans flooded the comments section with their messages, pointing out that Saba’s post didn’t feature actress and Saif Ali Khan’s former wife Amrita Singh. One user commented, ” Aapne sara ko mention kiya but uski mother ko nahi (You mentioned Sara but not her mother)” while another commented, “Please mention Amrita Singh also. It feels incomplete.”
One fan wrote, “Amrita Singh is missing. She is the strongest women and a very important part of your family. how can you forget her? The strongest women should know that they’re special.” Responding with a sassy comment, Saba wrote, “I’m sure she knows it.”
Saba, who resides in Bhopal with her mother Sharmila Tagore, chose to respond to several users, who called out for ‘forgetting’ Amrita Singh in her post. When a fan asked her ‘where’s Amrita Singh’, she wrote, “Probably at home.”
Last month, Saba jetted off to Mumbai to celebrate Jeh Ali Khan’s first birthday with her family members. She had posted several photos from the fun-filled celebrations.
