It is celebration time for the Kapoor clan as Shahid Kapoor’s half-sister, Sanah Kapur is getting married today in Mahabaleshwar. Sanah, who is Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak’s daughter, is set to seal the deal with Mayank Pahwa, son of actors Manoj Pahwa and Seema Pahwa. Several photos from the wedding festivities have taken over the internet and they are just beautiful.
Recently, we stumbled upon a perfect family click that show Shahid and his wife Mira Rajput happily posing with the bride Sanah, Pankaj and Supriya.
In another photo, Mira cannot stop smiling as Shahid hugs his half-sister. The photos seem to be from Sanah’s chooda and kaleera ceremony as she could be seen sporting both. The happy bride paired an elegant white kurta set with a vibrant red dupatta. Mira, on the other hand, looked stunning in her floral number and Shahid kept it cool by opting for a kurta set.
Prior to the wedding, the family kick-started the pre-wedding festivities on Tuesday, March 1. The mehendi and sangeet functions were attended by veteran actress Ratna Pathak, her son Vivaan Shah and other family members. A video from the ceremony had also gone viral on the web. The same showed the bride and groom smiling as they were welcomed with dhol. Sanah was seen wearing a yellow and pink lehenga while her husband-to-be was sporting a brown sherwani.
Meanwhile, on the movie front, Shahid will be next headlining Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Jersey, which is the Hindi remake of the director’s 2019 Telugu film by the same name. The original film starred Nani in the lead role. Along with Shahid, the sports drama will also feature Mrunal Thakur in the lead. After getting delayed because of the pandemic, Jersey will now hit the screens on April 14.
Apart from this, Shahid will also be making his OTT debut soon. He has teamed up with The Family Man duo Raj and DK for a web show.
