Prime Minister Narendra Modi  atatcked Congres and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while addressing a poll rally for Punjab election 2022. PM Modi also took aim at the AAP which has emerged as a strong contender in the upcoming election, saying that it is the photocopy copy of Congress.

He appealed to the electorate to vote for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and give him a chance to serve the people of the state. “Give me five years to serve you. I assure you farming, trade, industry will be made profitable,” PM Modi said.

Addressing a rally in Pathankot, PM Modi said the people of several states have given him the chance to work for the people by voting for BJP but the party never got the mandate to govern Punjab.

“I appeal to you to vote for BJP and alliance and give me 5 years to transform the state. The welfare of the poor is above all for my government,” the prime minister exhorted.

Coming down hard on Congress, PM Modi said the grand old party is busy questioning the valour of our brave soldiers while questioning the surgical strikes.

Further hitting out at Congress, the BJP’s star campaigner said his party believes in ‘punjabiyat’, while other outfits view the state political prism.

“Punjabiyat is of umpteen importance to us, while the Opposition views Punjab from the lens of ‘Siyasat’ (politics)…When Captain Sahab (Amarinder Singh) was in Congress, he would stop them from moving in the wrong direction. Now, he is also not there…” PM Modi said while addressing the election rally in Pathankot.

Further targeting the Congress, PM Modi said the grand old party failed to keep Kartarpur Sahib within India’s territory during the Partition.

The prime minister and BJP leader remembered Sant Guru Ravidas on his birth anniversary and told people that he offered prayers at the ‘Shri Guru Ravidas Vishram Dham Mandir’ in Delhi.

Hitting out at Congress and AAP, PM Modi said, “One looted Punjab while the other one is involved in scam after scam in Delhi. Despite being ‘Ek hi thali ke chatte batte’, they are playing ‘noora kushti’ (fixed fight) in Punjab and pretending to be against each other.”
