The grand finale of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 15 turned out to be a blockbuster affair. Tejasswi Prakash defeated Pratik Sehajpal, Karan Kundrra, Shamita Shetty, and Nishant Bhat to lift the winner’s trophy. Several celebrities took to social media to express their views after the Swaragini actress won the reality show, which was launched in October 2021.
Although Shamita couldn’t win BB 15, she received praises from the viewers for being opinionated and strong-headed. Her mother Sunanda Shetty and beau Raqesh Bapat attended the grand finale of Bigg Boss 15 to support the Mohabbatein actress, who emerged as one of the finalists of the show.
Shamita’s fans were disappointed after she was eliminated from the show during the finale. The 42-year-old finished as the third runner-up of Bigg Boss 15. Shilpa Shetty, while interacting with the paparazzi, reacted to Shamita’s elimination from the show. The Life In A Metro star took her sister’s eviction sportingly and said that “Whatever yaar. God is great, sabka malik ek hai. Unko sab pata hai. Vo jo bhi decision lete hai sahi lete hai. Jo bhi hota hai ache ke liye hota hai.
(Translation: God is great. He knows everything and takes the best decision for everyone. Whatever happens, happens for the best),” Shilpa said.
Shilpa also spoke about Tejasswi Prakash’s ‘aunty remark’ and expressed her displeasure over the same. “If a woman tries to demean another woman, that’s a sign of weakness. It boils down to manners,” the Baazigar actress said.
Shamita, who also participated in Bigg Boss OTT, was engaged in a heated rivalry with BB 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash. The two actresses were even involved in a verbal spat during the finale of the show. Shamita got irritated with Tejasswi when she tried to justify her ‘aunty’ remark after apologising for the same.
Shamita was snapped by the shutterbugs post the grand finale of Bigg Boss 15. She was spotted with her boyfriend Raqesh Bapat, who showered her with kisses and love.
Talking about Shilpa Shetty, the tinsel town diva is currently seen as a judge on India’s Got Talent. The new season of the talent-based show received a positive response from the viewers, becoming the number one non-fiction show across all channels. Kirron Kher, Manoj Muntashir, and Badshah are Shilpa’s co-judges on IGT.
The actress made her return to Hindi cinema after 14 years with Hungama 2. The comedy-drama, which premiered on Disney+Hotstar, also featured Paresh Rawal and Meezan Jaaferi.
