Salman Khan is one of India’s biggest and most popular actors. As a matter of fact, his fame is not limited to just India but has had him be known and lauded across the globe for his work in the Indian film industry. The actor was recently invited to an award show hosted by Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority in Riyadh.
Salman met the popular Hollywood actor John Travolta there and introduced himself in a manner that could only be seen as incredibly humble and grounded.
A fan posted a video of Salman shaking hands with John and introducing himself. He was spotted praising the Pulp Fiction star for his work in the movies, saying, “I work in the Indian film industry. My name is Salman Khan.”
Salman later posed for a photo with John. As they sat next to each other, the two exchanged smiles. Both of them were dressed in black suits. Two small tables with an assortment of refreshments and a floral arrangement were set up in front of them.
John Travolta is massively popular for his work in Carrie, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Pulp Fiction, and Hairspray, among others. In fact, for his performance in Get Shorty, he earned a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
For the unversed, Salman Khan selects his crew of performers each year to shake the stage during the Da-Bangg tour. He performed in Riyadh for his Da-Bangg tour in December 2021 alongside Shilpa Shetty, Saiee Manjrekar, Prabhu Deva, Sunil Grover, Kamal Khan, Guru Randhawa, and Aayush Sharma.
Meanwhile, the Bollywood actor, who was most recently seen in Antim: The Final Truth starring Aayush Sharma, released a new music video on Saturday. Not only did he feature in it, but he also lent his voice to the song Dance With Me. Archival footage of him dancing with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and his entire family, among others, was used in the video.
Up next, he will star in Maneesh Sharma’s third instalment of the renowned Tiger franchise, where he’ll be returning as RAW agent Avinash Singh Rathore alias Tiger along with Katrina Kaif, who will be reprising her role as Zoya. According to unconfirmed sources, Emraan Hashmi has been cast as the film’s antagonist.
