Salman Khan is currently embroiled in a defamation case with his neighbour over his Pabvel farmhouse. The case, which has been going on for quite some time has now seen the neighbour in question, Ketan Kakkad, make a few extremely serious allegations against the actor.
Salman’s lawyer read out portions from Ketan Kakkad’s social media posts and interviews where he levelled a few shocking allegations against the actor. According to Kakkad, there are allegedly bodies of film stars buried at Salman Khan’s farmhouse and even child trafficking takes place there.
According to a report by Live Law, Salman’s lawyer Pradeep Gandhy stated that these allegations are being made without any proof and were deliberate attempts at tarnishing the reputation of the actor.
Earlier, it was reported that advocate Pradeep Gandhy, appearing for actor Salman Khan, argued his defamation case seeking an injunction against the actor’s neighbour. Salman’s lawyer argued that Kakkad’s allegations were wild and baseless and were very personal in nature.
As per the suit filed by the actor, his NRI based neighbour Kakkad, who is now settled in Mumbai, purchased a plot of land in Panvel around 1995 near Salman Khan’s farmhouse. The plot of land was bought for the construction of a house, ashram, temple etc. However, Salman, in his suit has stated that as per his knowledge, Kakkad’s allotment of plot land was cancelled by the Government of Maharashtra/concerned forest department as illegal. As per the suit, Kakkad then started raising baseless and false accusations and allegations against the actor and his family members.
During the earlier hearing, Gandhy had referred to the allegations being levelled against Khan, stating, “In a property dispute, why are you tarnishing my personal reputation? Why are you bringing in religion?” He added, “My mother is a Hindu, my father is a Muslim and my brothers have married Hindus. We celebrate all festivals.”
A part of their property dispute states that Salman Khan has blocked access to his plot which is situated beside Arpita Farms. The actor’s lawyer, however, denied the same.
