After Pushpa: The Rise became a super hit across the globe. The makers of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde-starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo have decided to dub the film in Hindi. The Hindi version of superhit film will grace the screens in India on January 26, 2022. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm the same. 

His tweet read, “ALLU ARJUN: AFTER ‘PUSHPA’, NOW HINDI DUBBED VERSION OF ‘ALA VAIKUNTHAPURRAMULOO’ IN CINEMAS… After the historic success of #PushpaHindi, #AlluArjun’s much-loved and hugely successful #Telugu film #AlaVaikunthapurramuloo has been dubbed in #Hindi and will release in *cinemas*. The *dubbed #Hindi version* of #AlaVaikunthapurramuloo will release across #Indian cinemas on [Wednesday] 26 Jan 2022… Directed by #Trivikram. #Goldmines #AAFilms.”

The Hindi version, which is titled Shehzada, is being helmed by Rohit Dhawan and is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill. 

la Vaikuntapurramuloo hit the theatres in January 12, 2020, and became a blockbuster. The film is currently streaming on Netflix, was one of the highest-grossing films in 2020. Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film also starred Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad, Sunil and Rahul Ramakrishna in pivotal roles. 

The songs was composed by S Thaman, became chartbusters and was loved by fans belonging to different states and countries. One of the hit song from the film Buttabomma has now crossed a massive 719 million views on YouTube. The hit song was crooned by Armaan Malik.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is currently basking in the box office success of his latest film Pushpa, which became the biggest earner of 2021 in India. Written and helmed by Sukumar, the action thriller also has Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Dhananjay, Sunil, Harish Uthaman, Vennela Kishore and Sritej in pivotal roles.

Interestingly, Samantha also appears in a special song named Oo Antava..Oo Oo Antava. The actress performed a special dance number in the film which was loved by the audience. The movie is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media banners.
