OV vs WF Super Smash Dream11 prediction today: Fantasy cricket tips for Otago Volts vs Wellington Firebirds match

December 28, 2021 111 Views0

Otago Volts will cross swords with Wellington Firebirds in the 15th match of the ongoing Super Smash 2021-22 at the John Davies Oval in Queenstown on Tuesday, December 28. Both teams have had a forgettable tournament so far and are clearly struggling to find the winning momentum.

Both the teams have only won one game in the tournament so far. Volts are currently sitting at the fifth spot on the points table, while Firebirds are at the bottom of the table.

Volts lost their last game to the Canterbury Kings by 36 runs. Apart from captain Hamish Rutherford, none of the other Volts batters could really get going against the Kings. Rutherford played a captain’s knock 62 off 48 balls but ran out of partners at the other end. Volts bowlers have lacked venom and were taken to the cleaners by the Kings batters.

Wellington Firebirds also lost their last game as they fell short by 13 runs while chasing 135 against the Auckland Aces. Medium-pacer Ben Sears looked in good rhythm against the Aces as he picked up a three-fer at an impressive economy rate of 5.50 runs per over.

Skipper Michael Bracewell looked in fine touch with the bat against the Aces as he scored a half-century in a losing cause and will be raring to go against Volts. Opener Finn Allen, Tim Robinson, and others need to play to their potential for the Firebirds to win against Otago Volts.
