Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are set to get hitched on December 9 at the royal Six Senses Fort Barwara, in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Ahead of the wedding, we saw Katrina Kaif’s siblings arriving in Mumbai to attend the actress’ big and make it more special.
And now as per the latest reports, Katrina’s brother Sebastien Laurent Michel will be actress’ best man at the wedding. He has even prepared a speech for the couple, which he will give on the wedding day.
The India Today report suggests that Vicky and Katrina will have a Christian wedding. However, it won’t be a white wedding with a shepherd officiating the ceremony but an informal event where people close to the couple will raise a toast. It is said that Sebastian has been helping Katrina in all the wedding preparations ever since he landed in the financial capital of the country.
While the wedding will happen on December 9, the pre-wedding festivities are kept on December 7 and 8. The couple has planned the themes for the sangeet, mehendi and wedding by having multiple meetings with the wedding planners. While the theme of mehendi will reportedly be gold, beige, ivory and white, sangeet will have the theme of bling. During these festivities bride, groom and Bollywood celebs will perform on popular tracks. The theme of the wedding is said to be pastel sorbet.
While the reports earlier suggested that Karan Johar, Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, Rohit Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal and others will attend the wedding, Kiara recently revealed that she hasn’t received the invitation.
On the other hand, it is also said that Anushka Sharma will mark her presence along with husband Virat Kohli at the wedding while Shah Rukh Khan will give it a miss. Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan recently said that none of her family members have received an invitation from Katrina. On the other hand, there are reports that Vicky has avoided his ex-girlfriend Harleen Sethi’s name on the guestlist.
