Urfi Javed has been a part of the acting world since 2016, but she rose to fame when she appeared on Karan Johar-hosted Bigg Boss OTT. Though Urfi’s journey on the show was short as she was the first contestant to be eliminated, she garnered a lot of eyeballs. Post the show, Urfi has become a social media sensation and wherever she goes, she is papped by the paparazzi. Urfi is also known for her out-of-the-box and over-the-top fashion, but she makes sure that she steps out in something different every time.
Just like everyone, Urfi also had her shares of ups and downs, and once, in an interview, the actress recalled shocking incidents from her struggling days, where she was “forced to perform a full-fledged lesbian scene” by a producer. Urfi revealed that she begged her producer but no one listened to her.
While interacting with ETimes, Urfi recalled, “They made me perform a full-fledged lesbian scene. I was crying on the bed and begging them not to make me do it as I won’t be able to do it. I told them that I cannot do this, and I am sorry. But she was constantly threatening me saying that you’ve signed a contract and I will get you to put behind bars etc.”
The Bigg Boss OTT fame added, “The producer was taking off my clothes and I was begging her not to do that. She literally came and snatched my cloth and I was just in my bra, and the other girl had to also remove her bra.”
That’s not all, Ufi also recalled that in one of the scenes, where the actor playing her brother-in-law in the show was supposed to look at her, but the producer turned the “looking in touching”. Urfi further revealed that the producer made the guy “touch my legs and she started asking him to lift my saree so that my underwear gets to be seen, etc.”
This is not the first time that Urfi shared ordeals from her struggling days. In various interviews, the actress has shared similar horrific incidents and once, she also revealed how she was from a conservative family and her father didn’t allow her any freedom. On the work front, before Bigg Boss OTT, Urfi was a part of shows like Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga, Puncch Beat Season 2, and Aye Mere Humsafar.
