Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is known for not mincing her words and fans love her for the same. The actress often shares her opinions and tells the world what she thinks about different issues. Today, while addressing the nation on the occasion of Gurupurab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the withdrawal of all three farm laws. The laws will be repealed in the forthcoming session of Parliament.

Kangana has now reacted to the same. Sharing a netizen’s post that read, “Street power is the only power that matters, hence proved #FarmersProtest,” the actress wrote, “Sad, Shameful and absolutely unfair…”

She further wrote, “If people on the street have started to make laws and not the chosen government in the parliament then even this is a jihadi nation…. Congratulations to all who wanted it like this.”

Meanwhile, during his address, PM Modi also announced his decision to set up a committee of state and central representatives to make the Minimum Support Price (MSP) mechanism more transparent and effective. “I urge all agitating farmers to go back to their families and villages and let’s start a new beginning,” the PM said.

It is well known that thousands of farmers have been camping on the borders of Delhi for the past year in protest against the laws. These laws are – The Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, and The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act.

Coming back to Kangana, the actress recently made headlines for receiving the Padma Shri award from President Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi. Sharing a photo from the ceremony on social media, the actress had written, “Long ago when I started my career …. A question bothered me … I asked myself some want money, some want fans …. some seek fame and some just want attention …. What do I want? Deep down I always knew as a girl child I wanted to earn respect and that is my treasure Thank you India for this gift.”

The actress also has many Bollywood projects in the pipeline. She will be soon headlining The Incarnation Sita and Dhaakad. The actress is also producing the movie – Tiku Weds Sheru.
