Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot in 2018, are celebrating their third wedding anniversary today (November 14). The actors have reportedly jetted off to an unknown location to spend quality time with each other on this special occasion. Deepika and Ranveer, who are one of the biggest names in Bollywood, often shell out major power couple goals. From taking time out for each other to publically expressing their immense love, they often prove that they’re the ‘it’ couple of Bollywood.
On several occasions, Deepika and Ranveer have spoken about their relationship, And, Ranveer had once mentioned that the leggy lass, known for her phenomenal acting skills, is also an ‘awesome homemaker’.
In one of his first interviews after marriage, Ranveer spoke about his darling wife. “She’s so gharelu, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love to see her in that mould. She is a really awesome homemaker, by the way, in addition to everything that she is. She loves playing house-house, basically. I lucked out because I know that she is going to make my life beautiful,” he reportedly told Famously Filmfare.
Ranveer had also revealed that he knew Deepika was the one within just six months of dating the actress. “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately,” he said.
Ranveer and Deepika have starred together in several films, including Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and more. Up next, they will be seen in sports drama 83. Ranveer essays the role of Kapil Dev in the film while Deepika has a cameo as the cricketer’s wife. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film is about India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup win. 83 is all scheduled to release on Christmas 2021.
Deepika will also be seen in Pathan, Fighter, Shakun Batra’s next, the remake of The Intern and an untitled film with Prabhas. Meanwhile, Ranveer has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Takht and Circus lined up.
