Leaving behind the regular life, world and family is difficult for anyone, even if it brings them fame and fortune inside the Bigg Boss House. There are a number of times, when these things deeply affect the contestants inside the house, who take ill and have to leave the house in the middle of the season.

Recently, Raqesh Bapat, who had entered the Bigg Boss 15 house just recently as a wild card entrant, has been hospitalised. The TV actor had to cut short his BB 15 journey after he complained of pain due to kidney stones.

However, he is not the first contestant to exit the house due to ill health. Here’s looking at Bigg Boss contestants who fell ill inside the house and had to leave:

Sidharth Shukla

Late actor Sidharth Shukla who went on to win season 13 had to leave the show midway when he fell ill and was diagnosed with typhoid. He was hospitalised for a few days before coming back after recovery.

Paras Chhabra:

Another season 13 contestant who had exit midway was Paras. He injured his finger so badly that he had to go through a surgery. But after getting the medical attention outside, he came back to the house.

Vikas Gupta

Bigg Boss 14 conteastant had to exit th ehouse due to unknown medical issues. However, it was said he was suffering a throat infection and had to be under doctor’s observation.

Manu Punjabi

The contestant from season 10 was again called in season 14 last year as a challenger on the show. But he had to leave the show midway as he suffered a pancreatic attack and was hospitalised for a few days.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee

Devoleena had exit during season 13 due to a back injury. There were speculations that she might come back, but that never happened.

Zubair Khan

Bigg Boss 11 contestant Zubair was pulled up by the host for faking his identity. Zubair was hospitalised and later evicted from the show.
