Ranveer Singh returned to our small screens on Sunday with yet another entertainment-packed episode. He was joined by Rohit Shetty and Katrina Kaif for a round of the interesting and unique quiz game based on random pictures. The episode was dedicated to police officials, who worked as frontline workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh gave special tributes to police personnel present on the set and thanked them for taking care of the city and keeping everyone safe day and night. With the help of three TV actors Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Arjun Bijlani, Katrina and Rohit won Rs 50 lakh, which they donated to Mumbai Police Foundation.
During the episode, Ranveer asked a question from Rohit that was about a crazy hairstyle called Mohawk. After the filmmaker correctly answered the question, a picture of a young Ranveer flaunting his mohawk haircut appeared on the screen and the entire room broke into laughter. Then Rohit Shetty asked him about the haircut and his first meeting with Akshay Kumar. That’s when Ranveer got nostalgic as he remembered his first meet with the superstar.
While talking to Rohit on The Big Picture, Ranveer shared, “Juhu ke college mei shooting chal rhi thi. Mujhe milna tha Akshay Kumar se toh main gaya tha or ye mere mohawk hairstyle ke sath main unse mila. Main Raveena ji ko dekh raha tha tab ek seurity guard away aur mujhe shoo shoo kr ke bahar nikalne laga. Mera dil tootne he wala tha par tab mere kandhe par ek hath aya aur voh inka (Akshay) tha. Unhone kha, ‘hey, I like your hair cut’.”
[Translation – Akshay Kumar was shooting in a college in Juhu. I wanted to see the actor so I went there when I was really young. I was looking at Raveena Tandon and a security guard came up to me and was trying to shoo me away. My heart was going to break but that’s when Akshay Kumar kept his hand on my shoulder and said, ‘hey, I like your hair cut’.]
On the episode, we also saw Kareena giving auditions for the role of a female cop. She completely aced the dialogues as Rohit tested her skills. The actress even danced with the show’s host and showed her killer moves.
In the next episode, Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan will be seen promoting their upcoming film Bunty Aur Babli 2.
