Bat infestation

In his blog, Big B recently revealed that despite taking all the measures, bats keep invading his Mumbai residence, Jalsa. This left some of his family members petrified and hence, he asked for suggestions from his fans to get rid of the bats.

He wrote, “Another has re-emerged again. The BAT Had one yesterday despite all the precautions taken… So it is back to the drawing board and to make urgent devices applicable to stop these invasions and rid us and in particular some of the petrified members of the family, to be in some calm.” He also shared the measures that he and his family took to keep the bats away and further asked for some suggestions.

Karwa Chauth at home

Big B took to his blog to share with his fans details about Karwa Chauth celebrations at home. The legend wrote, “a day with the family for Karva Chauth .. the day the wives pray for the longevity and good wishes for the husbands .. fasting the entire day ..pooja in the day and in the evening .. dressed up for the occasion and then the scramble to see the Moon .. through the sieve, light a diya, say a prayer, pour some ganga jal towards the Moon .. throw the the diya over the shoulder with the back to the Moon .. and have the first bite from the hands of the husband and drink the first glass of water for the day..”

He further added, ” and the evening was given a surprise by the Son, Abhishek, who was shooting in Delhi for ‘Breathe’ , but without warning suddenly landed up at home .. and a roar of surprise and wonder in the family , who were just not expecting this

Story of Jalsa

Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow Jalsa is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious houses in Mumbai. The megastar once revealed the history of this magnificent bungalow.

Amitabh Bachchan took to social media remembering Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Chupke Chupke on the 46th anniversary of the film and posted a picture from the sets and wrote, “Chupke Chupke “ our film by Hrishikesh MUKERJI.. closing today at 46 years..!! This house you see in the picture is Producer NC Sippy’s house .. we bought it , then sold it , then bought it back again .. rebuilt it .. this is our home now JALSA !! Many films were shot here .. Anand, NamakHaram , Chupke Chupke , Satte pe Satta , and many more.”
