ST-W vs SS-W WBBL Dream11 prediction today: Fantasy cricket tips for Sydney Thunder Women vs Sydney Sixers Women match

Sydney Thunder Women play Sydney Sixers Women in the 12th match of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) at the University of Tasmania Stadium in Launceston on Saturday, October 23rd at 10:10 AM (IST).

Sydney Thunder Women lost their only game in the tournament so far to Adelaide Strikers Women. They are at the bottom of the table with no points on the board yet. Adelaide Strikers Women set them a target of 141, after scoring 140/7. Sammy-Jo Johnson and Lauren Smith picked up two wickets each.

Sydney Thunder Women could not match the effort as they were bowled out for just 110 runs eventually. Corinne Hall (38) and Anika Learoyd (23) were the only significant performers with the bat in what was a dismal show. Therefore, they went down by 30 runs.

Sydney Sixers Women, on the other hand, have had a good run in the competition. They have won two of their first three games. With four points, they sit at the second position on the points table, only behind Adelaide Strikers Women.

The Sixers Women started off on a high with two consecutive wins in their first two outings against Melbourne Stars Women and Hobart Hurricanes Women respectively. However, their previous game against the Melbourne Stars Women, in the reverse fixture, resulted in their first defeat of the season. They were set a target of 140 runs after bowling first. Sydney Sixers Women could only manage to get to 109/8, thus falling short by 30 runs. Skipper Ellyse Perry (40) and Ashleigh Gardner (31) played crucial knocks, although in vain.

While Sydney Thunder Women search for their first win, Sydney Sixers Women will look to get back to winning ways as the two sides clash in the darby.
