Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 is one of the most famous reality shows on television. The season was back with an audience and Big B sharing the hotseat with celebs once every week. Till now only a few contestants have been able to attempt the Rs 1 crore question and only two contestants have been able to win Rs 1 crore and one contestant won Rs 7 crore.
But besides the serious situations that the show entails, there are many moments where Big B shares interesting anecdotes about his life. From talking about his struggling days to his school days, the actor keeps the audience hooked to the show with his stories. In today’s episode, contestant Hussain Vohra, a businessman from Maharashtra, sat on the hotseat.
During the episode, Hussain talked about his occupation and shared that he does business in hardware. He later explained to Big B that he deals in several kinds of kitchenware, bathroom ware and went on to talk about a special kind of shower in which the spray technology makes one feel like they are under a waterfall. It will make one feel refreshed in the bathroom, he said.
He talked about sensor-based faucets and joked that if Big B wants he will install all this equipment for him at a discount. Big B laughed and then shared that when he was a kid he and his family did not have many facilities and thus, he did not have a shower in the house. However, he was able to have a bath under a tube well at their friend’s place.
“Humare ek mitra the unke yaha tube well tha. Paani ki ek bahut badi tanki banayi this and uske upar ek pipe daala tha. Umei se bahut zor se paani nikalta tha. Aisa lagta hai ki shower hai toh wahi jaake nahate the,” he said. [Translation: We have a family friend who had a tube well at his house. He had a huge tank and on top of it, there was a pipe. We would do inside the tank and have a bath and the pipe felt like it was a shower.]
Hussain attempted the Rs 1 crore question but didn’t know the answer and since he had used up all his lifelines, he had to quit the show. Here’s the question:
