Amitabh Bachchan is a man full of stories. And thanks to Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, fans get to know him all the more closeley with his interesting conversations with contestants taking the hot seat one after another. Today was yet another memorable episode. Today was anyway special because it’s Amitabh Bachchan’s 79th birthday. But what further made the episode engaging is the incident that Big B shared from his childhood. Turns out when Sr Bachchan was barely 2 years old, he went missing at a railway station.

Last week’s roll over contestant Pratap Singh Bhati continued playing the game today and Big B connected with him to an all different level. Recalling about the time when he went missing, Big B started his story-telling by giving a gist about his parents’ inter-caste marriage. His father was from UP whereas his mother was a Sikh. Big B also mentioned how this was perhaps the first inter-caste marriage in Illahabad. Later on, he shared about his birth and how his parents wanted to take him to his grandparents home when he was 2-years old.

Big B narrated how they were at the railway station and suddenly his parents realised that Amitabh is missing. Both his parents assumed he is around but Big B was nowhere to be found. His worried parents then started looking for him all around the railway station is when a man happened to notice a kid sitting with his legs hanging down the bridge and watching trains pass by. The man asked the Bachchans if that kid belongs to them and well, it was indeed Big B.
