Salman Khan’s ex Somy Ali backs Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan; says she smoked ‘pot’ at 15

“What kid has not experimented with drugs?” Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali asked in a long social media post as she supported Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan. The 23-year-old star kid was arrested on Sunday (October 03) after Narcotics Control Bureau raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Aryan attended the party with his friends and NCB claimed they procured 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA and 5 grams of MD from the event.

Aryan was sent to NCB custody till October 07, 2021. The court ordered to send Aryan and other accused to judicial custody and the star kid’s bail plea shall be heard today. Many celebrities from the industry have come to support Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan. The latest one to show support for the Khan clan was Salman’s ex Somy Ali.

In an Instagram post, the actress shared that she herself had smoked pot when she was 15 and has no regrets about the same. She also made a shocking revelation that the second time she smoked up was with actress Divya Bharti when the two were shooting for Andolan.

“Give me a big freaking break! And let this kid go home. Drugs, similar to prostitution, will never go away which is why both should be decriminalized. This is the epitome of a kid being a kid scenario. No one is a damn saint. I tried pot when I was 15 and then again with Divya Bharti during the shooting of Andolan. No regrets!” Somy wrote.

In her post, Somy urged the judicial system to “catch” rapists and murderers. She further said that the US has been fighting the war against drugs since 1971 and yet the same are easily available.

Somy concluded her long post with: “My heart goes out to Shah Rukh and Gauri and my prayers are with them. Aryan, you have done nothing wrong and justice will be served, kiddo. #freearyan #facade #justiceforaryan”. Apart from Somy, the likes of Raveena Tandon, Hrithik Roshan, Hansal Mehta and Shashi Tharoor have voiced their support for SRK and his wife Gauri Khan.

Even Salman Khan visited SRK’s residence Mannat, along with his sister Alvira Agnihotri amid Aryan Khan’s ongoing NCB battle. Aryan Khan’s case in the alleged drug case is being represented by Satish Maneshinde, who also defended Salman in the infamous blackbuck poaching case of 1998.
