Hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with its 13th season. The quiz show has a special section – Shaandaar Shukravaar, in which celebrity guests take the hotseat and this week, power couple Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh will feature on the show.
Recently, a promo of the upcoming episode was shared online and it is all things fun. The clip was shared with the caption, “Hotseat par baithe-baithe @geneliad ne pooche perfect husband hone se jude kuch sawaal, kya jawaab mila unhe? Jaanne ke liye dekhiye #KaunBanegaCrorepati #ShaandaarShukravaar mein, kal raat 9 baje, sirf Sony par.”
Genelia asked a few questions to Big B and Riteish to find out how well do they know their partners. The actress went on to ask what does it mean if the wife says that she doesn’t want to celebrate her birthday and doesn’t even want a gift. To this, Big B said that it means that the wife should certainly get a gift and there should be a celebration as well.
Next up, Genelia asked what will happen if you get five missed calls from your wife and you see that after an hour. Big B replied to her query with just one word – EARTHQUAKE. His candid reply left Riteish and Genelia in splits.
Prior to Genelia and Riteish, many other popular celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Farah Khan, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty and others featured on KBC 13.
In this season, the makers have brought back the audience poll lifeline. Due to the pandemic, the lifeline was rolled back in the last season as the studio audience was not allowed on the sets. Apart from this, the contestants also get three other lifelines apart from audience poll.
On the movie front, Big B is one of the busiest actors in B-town. He has many projects coming up including Brahmastra and The Intern remake. He has teamed up with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone for a pan-India film. The megastar has also collaborated with Ajay Devgn for Mayday, which is being directed by the latter.
Genelia, on the other hand, has been away from the silver screen for a while now. Meanwhile, Riteish was last seen in Baaghi 3 alongside Tiger Shroff.
