The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested four more persons on Tuesday in connection with the busting of a rave party on a cruise ship from Mumbai to Goa.

The NCB has registered a case under Section 8 (c) 27 of NDPS Act 1985. The NCB busted an alleged drug party at Cordelia Cruise on October 3. So far, 12 people have been arrested in the case including Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan.

Earlier, 8 accused were arrested by NCB in the case. On Tuesday, four more persons were arrested and taken to JJ Hospital for medical examination.

They were later brought back to the NCB office after the medical examination.

The accused have been identified as Abdul Qadir Abdul Qayyum Sheikh (30), Shreyas Surendra Nair (23)
Manish Udayaraj Darya (26), Avin Dinanath Sahu (30).

On Monday, the Esplanade Court hearing the case extended the NCB’s custody of Aryan Khan, Arbaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha till October 7.

The three along with five others were formally arrested by the federal anti-narcotics agency on Saturday in connection with the rave party busted aboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. On Sunday, a special court had remanded the trio to one-day NCB custody.

In the court, advocate Satish Maneshinde represented Aryan who has been booked under Sections 27 (punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance) and other provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The NCB argued that prima facie investigation indicates that there is material in form of WhatsApp chats showing the nexus of these respondents (Aryan, Merchant and Dhamecha) with peddlers and suppliers on regular basis.
