Ankita Konwar is a fighter and we have seen ample proof of this on Instagram. From pulling off tough physical tasks to braving life’s myriad challenges, Ankita has proved that she is ready for it all. And, she is only getting better with it, with each passing day. The 30-year-old, who is married to model-actor Milind Soman, has shared two photos on Instagram in which she is seen having a fun time on the beach. In the first photo, Ankita Konwar is pulling off a complex yoga pose with utmost ease. The next slide shows her in a happy state of mind. But it is the caption that caught our attention.  Ankita Konwar wrote, “Once you decide to survive, you start to thrive.”

Ankita Konwar’s post on “thriving” comes just days after she opened up about being abused as a child and losing loved ones including her father and ex-lover. In a post that went viral, she wrote, “Abused as a child. Grew up in hostels. Lived in foreign cities alone. Cheated by people I trusted most. Lost a brother. Lost ex-lover. Lost my father. Being called names for the way I look and judged for being with the person I love. So if you see me being optimistic, just know that I am. Love yourself.”

The video comes with a background voiceover that says, “You are so wise beyond your years.” Ankita even lip-syncs to the line, “It’s trauma, baby.” Her husband, Milind Soman dropped a supportive comment that said, “You have come a long way, baby.”

And, it looks like Ankita Konwar believes in embracing life without fear. She recently shared a Reels of herself frolicking on the beach and having a good time. She added a popular background voice note and it goes like this, “Learnt a long time ago I am not for everyone and I like it like that.” In the caption, she wrote, “Stay true to yourself, always.” Dressed in a tank top and shorts, Ankita Konwar looks beach-ready.

Ankita Konwar has been married to Milind Soman since 2018.
