It’s been a hectic few weeks at the Shetty-Kundra household. Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police and is currently in judicial custody for his alleged involvement in making and distributing pornographic films. Shilpa Shetty chose to take a break from all her commitments and focus on her family during this difficult time. While she resumed work a month after Raj’s arrest, Shilpa’s younger sister and actress Shamita Shetty went on to participate in Bigg Boss OTT that was being hosted by Karan Johar. 

Shamita left everyone impressed with her game for six weeks and her proximity with Tum Bin actor Raqesh Bapat. Although Shamita made it to the top 3, she lost the trophy to Divya Agarwal. Shamita is now finally out of the house and has met her sister Shilpa. The actress took to Instagram after reuniting with her sister and shared the cutest pictures followed by the sweetest note.

Shamita made quite a few revelations on the show that gave her fans a chance to get to know her better. The most prominent one being when Shamita revealed that she lost her boyfriend many years ago to an accident and that left her shattered.

Before making her way into the BB house, Shamita turned cheerleader for her sister amid her difficult time. She had also promoted Shilpa’s comeback film Hungama 2 and wrote, “All d best my darling Munki for the release of ur film Hungama after 14 years I know Uve put in a lot of effort into this one.. the entire team has !.. love you and with you ALWAYS Uve gone through a lot of Ups n downs in life and one thing I know for sure .. Uve emerged stronger!… this too shall pass my darling”
