Nusrat Jahan’s little bundle of joy is here! The actress-MP welcomed her first child to the world on August 26. Nusrat who was admitted to a Kolkata-based hospital on August 25, gave birth to a baby boy. Reportedly, Nusrat underwent C-section and delivered at around 1 pm. Apparently, it was the actress rumoured beau, Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta who took the then mom-to-be to the hospital yesterday night. 

Yash gave a health update about the mom and son duo and said they are “healthy and doing well.” While Nusrat did not confirm her pregnancy news on social media, she was often seen embracing her baby bump in several pictures. 

She has been embroiled in controversy for her troubled marriage life with ex-husband Nikhil Jain. The couple who tied the knot in 2019, parted ways earlier this year. Nikhil who is a businessman by profession, also reacted to the happy news of Nusrat becoming a mother. 

Talking to a leading news channel, Nikhil extended his good wishes to the mom-son duo. “My differences with her would not stop me from wishing well for the newborn. I wish her well. May the baby be super healthy and have a prosperous future,” he told Aaj Tak

Amid her separation rumours earlier this year, Nusrat broke the silence and confirmed the same in a 7-pointer long statement. She called her marriage with Nikhil “invalid” as their Turkey wedding did not get recognition under Indian law. A part of her statement read, “A part of the same read, “Being on foreign land, as per Turkish Marriage Regulation, the ceremony is invalid. Moreover, since it was an interfaith marriage, it requires validation under the Special Marriage Act in India, which did not happen. As per the court of law, it is not a Marriage, but a relationship or a live-in relationship.

Nusrat is now said to be dating Yash. Just a while ago, she had posted a series of stunning pictures of herself, and fans were quick to wonder if they were clicked by Yash. Both Yash and Nusrat are yet to comment on the matter.
