Things have been anything but a bed of roses for actress Shilpa Shetty. She has been busy judging Super Dancer 4 when on the night of July 19 her husband Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in being a ‘key conspirator’ in making and distributing pornographic films. Shilpa took a break from her show and celebrity guests filled in for the actress. 

Raj’s bail plea has been rejected and was then sent to judicial custody for 14 days. It’s been over a month and Shilpa has now stepped out of her home, resumed work, and is back with a bang. Despite all the troubles in her personal life, Shilpa looked gorgeous in a blue and pink saree. 

The actress went on to share an image of her OOTD and with it followed a caption for all the strong women out there. Her caption read as, “There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise” 

The channel, earlier today went on to share a clip from tonight’s episode where Shilpa spoke about Rani Laxmi Bai. She said, “Main Jhansi ki Rani ke baare mein jab bhi sunti hu, mujhe aise lagta hai ke samaj ka chehra dikta hai. Kyun ki aaj bhi, aurat ko apne haq ke liye, apne pati ke baad, ladai ladni padti hai, apne asistva ke liye, apne bachcho ke liye. This story, it gives us women the power to fight and she fought with her life. Jhansi ki Rani was really a superwoman.”

Shilpa also went on to say that she is filled with pride when she thinks about women who are fearless in difficult situations. She further said that women who fight for their rights get her ‘sashtang dandvat pranam’. It was also reported that Shilpa broke down during the shoot and everyone on set including the contestants and co-judges consoled the actress.
