It was Kareena Kapoor’s father, veteran actor Randhir Kapoor who went on to reveal his newborn grandson’s name – Jeh. While the actress is yet to show the full face of her baby boy on social media, she slyly revealed his original name in her recently published book Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual for Moms-To-Be. In her latest book, Kareena has talked about her journey of motherhood and how she juggled work and her family life.
As per the Bollywood Hungama report, the Laal Singh Chaddha actress who has addressed her little munchkin Jeh throughout the book, called him ‘Jehangir’ in the caption of one of the images of her book. Both Kareena and Saif are yet to disclose the meaning or reason behind their second son’s name. It is worth mentioning that the pair created a stir after naming their firstborn, Taimur Ai Khan. The name proved to be ‘objectionable’ for some given the name’s association with a 14th-century Turkic king and one of the world’s most successful conquerors.
While Kareena and Saif’s firstborn Taimur is an ancient Persian name meaning iron, Jehangir, mainly spelled as Jahangir or Jangir is a Persian male given name. Jahan means world or universe. It also means “king of the world.” Like last time, the power couple opted for an ancient name for their baby.
In her book Pregnancy Bible, Kareena talked about how she doesn’t need to prove to anyone that she is a hands-on mother. She penned, “Saif and I are both working parents. Our lives would hardly be possible without them. And I want you to know that I don’t have to be on Instagram putting a child to my breast to prove I am a hands-on mom. I just do the best I can, every single day.”

Kareena and Saif who announced their pregnancy in August 2020, is a happy family of four now with the ‘internet’s favourite child’, Taimur Ali Khan being the elder brother. Jeh was born on February 21, 2021.
On the film front, she will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha alongside her 3 Idiots co-star Aamir Khan. The film is scheduled to release in Christmas 2021.
