Several rockets were fired from south Lebanon towards Israel on Friday, the state-run National News agency reported, in the latest flareup along the border.

An AFP correspondent in south Lebanon said he heard several explosions and saw smoke rising from the disputed Shebaa Farms area in what would mark the second rocket attack from Lebanese territory this week.
